Past one of those Quantums parked along the Savannagh Way about 5yrs ago, suspension had failed big time. Could not speak to the owners as they had left it there I gather to organise a flat top tow. cheers Ian
Yes if I recall correctly was a failed camber bolt, possibly not serviced (greased at certain intervals) or faulty.
Cheers
Richard
To be honest I can't really recall exactly what the problem was, we did stick our heads under it but my memory fails me! Just know it was a suspension issue, I "thought" something major had given way. Will check with brother inlaw who was travelling with us later?
Yes if the camber bolt fails and will be through lack of maintenance, the suspension trailing arm will give way and unless a spare is carried then indeed it is an issue.
Cheers

Richard are you also Richard Fly? Are you an AOR Dealer or working for AOR? How/Why do you know about an alleged owner causation of a fault?
Maybe I'm just suspicious?
No Possum3, I am not Richardfly, have never heard of him, I am also not working and have never worked for AOR, I am retired for 5 years from the industrial hose industry involved in Oil and Gas hoses. Am also a happy AOR customer who has had now 3 of their products stepping up to my current one and an active member of the AOR forum.
Cheers

I dont believe RichardK is Richard Fly, and richardK is not someone who works with/for AOR (AOR dont have a dealer network). I was one of the Quantums traveling with RichardK on that trip and can vouch for his integrity.
The AOR Owners forum is a very open & uncensored forum and, as RichardK states, the owner of AOR stays personally involved and addresses issues, where appropriate, with upgrades. Most owners use the forum to raise any issues, so all of us owners have visibility of any issues mentioned in the forum as well as the resolution.
