As Possum says, there are numerous gravel pits all around WA, many far enough back from road to be quiet(ish). Easily spotted as you drive, but often no time to stop so you'll need to 'U' turn and go back. Never any facilities, obviously, but plenty of room for Fido to run around. In York one of the bridges across to town is a swing bridge. Some dogs like it, but others say "No way Jose" so you may have to cross on the road bridge. York is a fantastic little town with friendly people, and even has a country-style butcher. Check out a huge house in Brook St , that used to be a hospital, and the nearby museum. Cheers

That is the entry criterion.
WikiCamps does not show a campsite there so the very high probability is that you may not camp there and, frankly, I doubt the locals would appreciate travellers setting up camp next to their mum's grave.
Some western NSW & Qld towns have actually allocated spare areas next to cemetery - Bollon Qld perfect example.

Not really.
Both Open Street Maps and WikiCamps show a camp about 200m south of the cemetery in Bollon but that's all.
I really don't think camping in the immediate vicinity of cemeteries is respectful.

Sorry Mike, we spend a lot of time at Bollon - the Cemetery parking area is the designated free-camp, even has a bird watching hut overlooking the tombstones.
Similarly Grace Plains (near Balaklava S.A.) Cemetery - the locals have spent a lot of money providing tarmac area.
think i got it.
learnt a lot more about the filters now
thanks all who helped
