We have one of those narrow, deep food cupboards. Could someone advise were I might obtain a metal slideout insert for this, as used in up-to-date caravans please?

Perhaps one of those vehicle storage companies might be able to help.  When we were looking at adding compartments to our 4WD we came across a company called 'Black Widow Storage Solutions'.  They seem to specialise in metal slideouts, at least in the back of cars, but I would imagine the concept would be the same inside a caravan.

Don't know where you are in Australia but try a company called Hafele. Offices in all states. They also have a website.  hafele.com  Check them out.

Might sound abit dumb, but i would see what IKEA (or even a company that makes actual house kitchens) has-- depending on the size of your slider.

Glen, I hadn't realised that there were Davis convicts. Bit of an honour these days to claim that. But I'm only third generation and I'm afraid that I don't know the people you mentioned. It would have been an interesting coincidence. Regards, Laurie
