None of us have been everywhere in Australia but if all us grey nomads combined our photo's the result would probably cover most of it. This is the spot to try and stump each other as to where a particular scenic photo has been taken. Please include something in the photos submitted that will be an obvious landmark to people that have been there so we can keep the competition moving. I will submit the first photo & the person who first names the location correctly has earned the right to post the next photo to tease us all. Good luck & have fun.
Aww, no fair, first time I've been on today so didn't get a chance to guess the first 2 photos - I knew them too! No idea of this one though, if it really is Qld then we're behind the 8 ball as we haven't been there yet.

Sorry, not Esperance either.
ps: the pic is over 10 years old so the foreground may have changed or grown taller but the background probably won't change for thousands of years yet...global warming permitting.

Local knowledge....Have regularly fished the area off Port Stephens.... I recognised it was taken from Soldiers Point or Salamander Bay.
Reckon it could be the Shire Office's at Cooktown!

Yep they certainly bring back the memories Johnw. You must have stood in the same spot as I did when I took the photo a couple of years ago, just goes to show great minds think alike.
You could be correct there it does look a lot like Esperence.
PS:- looks like I', a bit behind the times here.

No takers on the sola farm yet, so to give a clue, I guess I could state the bleeding obvious and say that it's in a very sunny place!!!!!!!!! It is, however in WA. Sorry the photo is so big, will try a thumbnail size next time!

I'll try since it's so quiet here. Is it Carnarvon WA?
