People born before 1946 were called the Silent and powerful generation.. People born between 1946 and 1964 are called the Baby Boomers. People born between 1965 and 1979 are called Generation X, And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called Generation Y,
Why do we call the last group Generation Y?
Y should I get a job? Y should I leave home and find my own place? Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours? Y should I clean my room? Y should I wash and iron my own clothes? Y should I buy any food?
Just about sums it up I reckon!!

So how did that happen? Is that the same generation with the soft brain? Soft options, soft choices, soft decisions. Oh, to clarify, I call the people who insist on "political correctness" (whatever that means) the generation of the soft brain. They're not hard enough to make the tough decisions which are in everyone's best interest. They take the alternate option. Some call them greenies, or environmental do-gooders. I have nothing against looking after the environment, keeping forest, protecting fish stocks and the ocean, using water wisely, but I'm not silly or foolish enough to try to stop a D12 bulldozer with my bare hands. Greanpeace is not peaceful, but it's a good way to get out of productive work while risking their lives. How wise is that? How did we get from silent and powerful to "Y"?
