I didn't put this in "What's Cooking" as It is not a recipe as such.
I saw on a cooking show recently that if you crack an egg on a flat surface you don't get egg shell in your food. Just tried it and guess what? IT WORKS. 6 eggs and not one bit of shell.
That's my lesson for the day. Have you had a lesson today??

You're all just a bit cracked. Just goes to show we're never too old to learn. That reminds me, I have some eggs in the fridge I'd better cook up. Thanks Doug.

Little tip:
If you crack an egg and get a bit of shell into the egg just use the half eggshell to get it out. It will cut through the albumen and get the piece of shell out without trouble.

I've always favoured the candy eggs myself, but I wouldn't knock back chocolate eggs.

Still a spring chicken mate.
I'm a spring chicken too only thing is, I don't have any spring left and the body is getting older. Some say the mind has gone. Thing is, I agree. SOMTIMES.

Another interesting EGG fact that you can win bets on is this...
If you link your fingers with palms facing inwards and place an egg lengthways (ends against each palm) and then apply pressure... the egg can not be broken no matter how much pressure is applied.
Pick the strongest bloke in the pub and bet him $100 that he can't break the egg.
Garn Doug....your "egging" us on.....
Very "eggciting" though !
