I had a great roast meal at Tin Can Bay Country Club Qld on Wednesday night..$7.95 for members, $9.95 for non members. Very generous portions, and friendly staff.
We went back on Friday night for the over 50's music and I won a Seafood Tray! Proceeds go to the local Coast Guard. And my sister won $24 on the pokies! Not a huge amount of money, but paid for their night.
Last time I took a ticket there, I won a meat tray!

For those like me a state would be helpful, Home Hill could be any where?

I know where Tin Can Bay is. Camped there for a week in 08 and won $120 on Keno and a few bucks on pokies. Quaint little community but a nice spot, except when it rains 24/7 for 3 days.

I remembered you saying that Chris. Must be a lucky place! As for the rain, yes, I copped it this time too. More like passing showers...bl**dy pest! But it is that time of the year. Should be finished soon, hopefully. Don't want rain for our get together at Cobb & Co.
Pam, Home Hill is in NQ. I usually Google Map a town which is mentioned. I like to get an idea of where it is too.

It is always better to give a state and perhaps a nearby town if the town name is not in the title.
A camps site number is good but they do change the numbers on each new edition so only good if you have the same edition..
Many of us keep our little list either on a spreadsheet or notes and also many update their camps books so it does help.
I use Google earth and Google maps to check sites but there is often two towns with the same name.
I find many sites by doing a fly over with Google earth.

Yes I can see why no Target or KMart in Home Hill and the local may not have the money to waste on cloths
