As I am a Mexican a big welcome from me too, enjoy here and out in the playground.
May I suggest Greens Lake, Midland Hwy about halfway between Shepparton and Elmore, Vic. Great free camping, you even get a choice of sites either "Lakeside" with absolute water views OR "Bush" sites with a view as well. I am currently on "Lakeside".

Welcome to both parties. We are also very new Nomads and have been welcomed and helped numerous times on this site already. Very informative and very helpful people. We lived on the Sunshine Coast for three years recently (2008-11) in Beerwah and its a great spot!
See you on the road!

Hello Just posted on the forum earlier today and Dougwe Suggested that I come and introduce myself. I live on the Sunshine Coast. I am about to retire in 2 weeks time. I have been dreaming of traveling around Oz for a long time. I have been lurking in forums educating myself about the possibilities and the lifestyle of caravanning. Very chuffed by the welcome.
