Hello Grey Nomads! I am excited to be joining the ranks of nomads with my husband Rod (aka Eb). We have been traveling for five years in a small, soft-floored camper trailer, but only for short periods up to 4 weeks. Next year, we are selling up and giving this retirement thing a go! We have bought a small, off-road caravan and are keen to see what it is like not to have any deadlines or much of an itinerary, apart from escaping heat, flies and crowds. I look forward to sharing information with all of you, and maybe a beer or glass of Cab Sav meeting up on the road. We have much to learn and a little to share. Oh, and we think we are quite funny.
Cheers,
Diane (aka Flo)

Welcome to the forum Ebnflo!
I'm mystified why anybody would want to leave Mullumbimby to go travelling around, perhaps its just to reassure yourself you live in a beautiful place?

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome(s)! It is lovely to feel part of a community before we have even started off on this exciting (and scary) new life. We have already gotten so much useful information from the website and forums, we are feeling more relaxed about it all already.
