The rates they quote on that site seem to be a bit dearer than what you encountered. Were you offered a discount for some reason?

PeterPan was referring to the Gemini CP not the Sapphire CP.
This is a nice little park. It has very friendly owners Toni and Michael, the caretaker's name is Tim.
Toilets and showers are good, 1 washing machine $3 per load. The park has been open around 3 weeks.
The owners have worked really hard to bring it out of the disrepair that they found it in. Can take around 10 Vans on power.
Remember that you are in the gem fields and it's reasonably dusty and dry. Prices $15 per night w/power. 0r $100 per week.
There are two mine sites in the park both operating. The main one does sifting for their patrons and Tim gives good instruction
on how to sift properly and will help sort out the good from the not so good.

Thanks for that info Peterpan ... I hope to be spending a few weeks in the Rubyvalle and Sapphire area in a month or so and will give them a look.
