Woolomin a small settlement on the bank of the Peel River, about 20 km north of Nundle, New South Wales, Australia and about 40 km south east of the city of Tamworth. It is on the Fossickers Way near Chaffey Dam.
Great little free camp (flushing) toilets cleaned daily. Limited power available at $4.00 night from Small village shop beside campground.
Great spot to unhitch and visit Chaffey Dam and Tamworth.

I shall add a bit to this post
To avoid an Imperial typewriter, being dropped on my head, by some irate pigeons

I went through Woolomin in January 2019
I talked to some of the people in the free camp, and they advised that the local store made good fish and chips
I never stopped, as I was on the way to somewhere else, at that time
Hopefully I shall return one day, as (in my opinion), any amount spent in a small place, does more good than spending it, in the big smokes
