Hi all can anyone recommend or know of a place where i can get my rv gel coat resprayed ? preferably in melbourne .. plenty of van repairers but no resprays !
Possibility of a boat repair place i suppose ... need help .

Try a truck repairer, they can respray with two pack paint after proper preparation and will be able to match colour, with modern paints and clear overcoat will give a longer lasting finish than the original gel coat.

If it's just a respray, I have sprayed fibreglass boats that I have restored with 2 pack paint and they have been around for years towed on the road and always in the weather with no deterioration in the finish. I see no reason why a reputable vehicle finisher can't do the job.

On the boat we use cutting compound & then polish up the surface. Boats take a hammering but we never needed more than elbow grease to may the surface look like new.
If the gelcoat has worn down too far ask at a slipway for respaying services.
