The plastic toilet bowl in the van has stained/tarnished over time.
Tried all sorts to clean it, including the internet favourite, tooth paste.
Nothing has worked to any great degree till I tried one of the sodium percarbonate products, in this case, the Aldi Di San Oxy 32.5%.
With a bit of elbow grease it quite easily cleaned off the stain returning the bowl back to looking like new.
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
Joe.

Well done Joe. I don't use that stuff in the Canister but will keep it in mind to clean the white dunny though.
One good thing about the tooth paste though, at least the dunny won't get cavities now.
Well someone was bound to say it!

I don't know what type of plastic is used in caravan toilet lids, but a lot of those hard plastic residential toilet lids don't like bleach, it pits the surface.

Thanks for that. I'll try it on my plastic vanity basin.
Just finished re-greasing the wheel bearings so the nappy soak will help clean my hands. SWMBO says I smell like oil.
cheers

Try baking soda and vinegar? As it foams it lifts the stains .

Vinegar is good to clean bathroom floor drain grates. Leave the removable part in a container overnight. The non removable part, an old flannel etc soaked in vinegar & covered with a plastic bag etc overnight so it doesn't dry out.
