Well the Prime Miniter tonight mentioned among other things that gathering in a group in the street is fine if all members are from the same household. Do you know if these people in your pic is not from the same household.? If they are then this is fake news based on an assumption.
Tomorrow all playgrounds will be closed tomorrow anyway.
I think us aussies are easy pickings at the moment as they adjust. Better to spend your valuable free time within your own property boundaries dont you think?

That sign doesnt seem to be in the same park. When were the photos taken?

From my lounge room window about 500 kids on the swings during the day, including 1 dog placed on one swing.

I took the photo from the other side a day earlier.

look closely the picture appear to be from different sides looks like you can see both sides of the sign, i would be most concerned with the number of hands on the equipment

& this is the social distancing on the public walkway in front of our building all morning & to a lesser extent for the rest of the day. I'm letting our Council know tomorrow.
The path is about a km long with people going both directions, a lot of runners puffing which is the norm along here.

Well I dont think its appropriate to photograph children anywhere.
I also have a problem with certain types that focus on other people beyond reasonable.
In my view, youd have a full time job just watching TV about social distancing. Centrelink queues a good example- within 60 cm of each other. Saving the world is extreme.
Reminds me of some caravanners taking too much interest in other peoples rigs and activities.

If I wanted to show faces from 400 metres I could have posted a touch more detail. I am at a bit of a loss with the public apathy over Covid-19.
Mosman in Sydney has the lowest vacation of children in Australia but one of the highest of pet vacation rates. Hopefully kids know where they stand on the pecking order!
Hopefully people watched SBS last night. A BBC 2017 program, frightening stuff.
If I had young kids I wouldnt like seeing anyone with a camera pointed at my kids. Pixelation irrelevant.
Anyway that my view.

That's why I was three quarters of an hour walk away. Council now know about it so hopefully hundreds of hands will no longer contaminate it.

One wonders if some of the authorities don't take the new regulations seriously. On the road from Kenilworth to Eumundi near Belli there is a rest area with a toilet. Have been past it for the last couple of days and it is chock a block with young people in their whizz bang vans. My wife rang the local council to report this who advised her to contact Main Roads who then advised her to contact the Police. The feeling that she got was that no one really wanted to do anything about the situation.

I received a call from Council today. They didn't really want to know about either, the swings or the crowded walkway. I should phone crime stoppers.
I said the situation is not an individual gathering. It is 500 hands on the swings over a day even after parents have read the Covid-19 sign. It is Council property.
I said it is very simple a council worker just has to unbolt the 2 swings & take them away.
Let's see what happens.

I received an email from Council:
'Requests for maintenance are investigated and prioritised based on a risk management approach. The order in which these requests are addressed depends on the seriousness of concern. Problems which may be a risk to life or property are high priority and attended to as a matter of urgency. Issues assessed to have no immediate risk to property or life may take up to three months to complete. Where Council undertakes an inspection and determines that works are not required, you will be notified.'

Fixed.
Council actually came & wound the swings around the crossbar & cable tied them up, & stuck another Covid-19 sign on the frame.
Sydney Northern Beaches has one of the highest Covid-19 problems in Australia. This doesn't help!
