The TV ad. tells us that we can just sit there exercise.
All OK. Then I was told the price. $600, plus !!!!!
I didn't buy it. I will stick to my pushbike.

Being the ignorant one .. in relation to exercising that is, I had a look on line to see what you were talking about.
Then I thought that you had the numbers wrong until I realised that I was looking at a USA website & the US$399 converted into AU$622 ... plus postage, which from USA is usually very dear.
I recently borrowed a device that converted my pushie into an exercise bike. It was great. You can get them on gumtree for around $50. So you won't be loosing much when you tire of it & put it out with the next kerbside rubbish pick up ... along with all the other exercise gismos and pushbikes.
Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the things, but if you are interested PM me & I'll try to find out.
ps .. good to hear from you again.

Cupie, they're called a push bike trainer. Aldi have them when they put out their push bike specials, around $60.
Cheers Pete

Yes, I have been suffering in "silence"
This ostiporosis, which is incurable has had me pondering wweather to take a long walk off a short wharf. Really!
As a result, haven't been feeling too flash.

Might be wiser to try a push bike trainer, rather than risk broken bones from a fall off a bike.

Sent you a PM, pipes. You might find it worth while.
Hey you older members of this & past caravan forums, we have a member who is down in the dumps - any suggestions on how to brighten him up?
I know we're all getting older & have ongoing aches & pains but surely this is a call for help (or have I misunderstood the message) -

Hi Pipes
I met you at Sue and Phils, a few years ago, I was the bloke with the burnt hands
I think that the CUBII you mentioned is designed for those, who no longer have the balance, to ride a bicycle, but wish to keep their muscles mobile
I am sure that there are much cheaper ones, on the market, or even sat on the pavement, at roadside rubbish collection times
I have a friend who uses an "indoor push bike trainer," (basically the rear tyre, of your own bicycle is on a roller, and you can peddle away)
Also as Cupie above has already said, probably better to use one, than to risk falling off a bicycle, on the road
This Coronavirus isolation, is getting to a lot of us, in different ways, so I can only say
Hang in there Pipes, and always remember, that you have friends, who will help, whenever they can

Thanks for the concern/ comments. Found a wharf, but I imagine the water would be a tad cold.
Might put the idea off 'til summer.
Stay safe.

Thats the Pipes I know, good to see that you have cheered up a bit, mate
There is never any harm in seeing another doctor, for a second opinion
I have read that there are specialists doctors who treat OSTOPOROSIS
It appears that if we take certain vitamins, and/or eat certain foods, it helps to strengthen our bones
An Osteoporosis doctor, probably has a lot more information, than a normal General Practice doctor
Let us know how you get on, Pipes

Hi there Pipes, just letting you know, you are not alone out there. Not much I can help you with, except that I too suffer from Osteo-Arthritis. Keep this thread going.
