Just fitted a reversing camera, yes but its different. I have the safety dave monitor that takes about four cameras, I had a spare camera that I removed of the rear of our caravan. I had previously installed the loom with the intention of fitting a camera for backing onto the ball, but we seem to be able to do that without.
But with the ute., when in carparks its a nerve wracking experience backing out, with no view as to what vehicles may be approaching. So I have installed the camera at the rear left-hand corner under the tray looking at right angles to the left. Initial tests gave a very good wide angle view, but will be testing it out over the next few days.

Reversing out of 45° parking spaces in country towns is nerve wracking. A camera would be nice!

Fitting a camera on the top of my canopy was the best thing l've done on my ute. Makes reversing out of angle parks safe and easy. I can also see the towball, bonus!
