The SS unit with the Long Handle is what I have seen the serious Beach/Shallows Operators have, I maybe only go shallows detecting once a year on very low tides now with my Nox800. In the 80's and 90's it was a lot more frequent.
Hi,
Can anyone advise me on purchasing a good quality stainless steel or aluminium long handled beach scoop for when I go detecting on the beach.
Brands/prices etc
Thanks

I suggest a metal scoop is not ideal, it is impossible to wave the coil over the scoop to see if the target has been scooped.
A plastic scoop can be bought from any detecting shop, I made one from a Piece of 150mm Poly (white) drainage pipe.
Cheers Neil
