NSW residents who tow boats and caravans on Sydneys toll roads will now be eligible for a dedicated rebate.
Grey nomads were hit with a huge toll increase on October 1 2019 because cars towing caravans are lumped into the same class as trucks and other heavy vehicles.
A lot of grey nomads out there towing caravans, people towing boats and horse floats, shouldnt be slugged in the same way a B-double would be on a toll road, he told Ray.
Claimants will need to register with Transport for NSW, submit a claim through their toll retailers online portal, and the $14 per trip refund will be deposited into a nominated bank account.

All the technology in the world, but some idiot public servant dreams this up. They know exactly who you are by camera and probably by now who the driver is. It would be a simple program line or two to exempt any charges to save all this bs

Tend to disagree with you their Craig, The mob that decided to increase tolls are a publicly listed company on the stock exchange. No public servants involved. But there were NSW public servants who worked on getting the rebate. Unfortunately it appears NS-Welshmen are the only ones entitled to the rebate if I read it correctly.

You are right skins in that it is not public servants but private operators that control the TOLLS. There are some Pollies working to get the rebate for all. At this time it is the NSW Gov. that is paying the refund which mean that NSW tax payers are paying,

After months of campaigning from Ray Hadley, NSW Transport Minister Andrew Constance has announced a rebate scheme similar to the M5 cashback.
