Two years ago we stayed in Francois Peron NP, that is really worth it. Let your tyres down to 20psi, they have air when you come out if you don't have your own.
Stayed there over Xmas New Year and I have to say the park is sensational. I didnt have any luck with the fishing but many did and there are plenty of fishing spots near the park. If its school holidays when youre going it will be packed. Camp kitchens and ablutions are five star. Hope this helps

Hi All,
Intending to do a 7 night stay at the RAC C/Park at Monkey Mia.
Has anyone stayed there recently sine the RAC took it over and have renovated.
I intend to take up a kayak and do a spot of fishing, so is it all marine park there or not
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob
A bit of basic research will tell you lots.
Cheers,
Peter

Yep. Spent one night at Monkey Mia once and that was enough for a lifetime. "Tourist central"
Cheers,
Peter
We had a quick look around the caravan park, we avoid them like the plague, one might as well be at Narrabeen caravan park in Sydney.
There were not too many people in Francois Peron NP when we were there. The odd kayak, fishermen & a kite surfer, a place we will never forget.
A sand flag on the car does make it a bit easier on the long straight tracks, & you will get a bit of priority by default!
