I purchased a used Mercedes SWB RV Sprinter six weeks ago and have run away from home heading north in Western Australia.
I would appreciate advice on the availability of an awning/tent to go over the barn doors at the rear of the van. There is already a slot on the roof that an awning could be threaded in to.
Thanks in advance
PS Im really pleased with my van. I upgraded the solar capacity and am able to bush camp for a short period of time. I think fridge space might prove my undoing.

As US version, probably not what you are thinking but maybe some ideas, see comment 171 for photos.
Aldi sold one as a Special Buy a couple of times - Keep your eyes on their Specials.

depending on what you want to use the awning / tent for, one of the 30 second oz tents might do the job . then if you want to use the van after setting up you don't have to pack everything up.

Thanks for your responses.
The US version would be perfect I think.
Yes, Ive heard that Aldi has the occasional camping special - will watch out for them.
I thought about an OzTent but they are quite bulky and bit heavy for me I think (a brilliant product all the same).

Southern spirit in Brisbane have models for a wide range of campervans including the MB Sprinter.
From my reading of the online mag iMotorhome they have a good reputation.
