Just heard 2 people in their 60,s have been charged with making false declarations at the qld. border and are in nanango. people in that age group should know better. Nanango is miles from the border. Hope they are not where we are staying.

Unfortunately this is happening on an extremely regular basis.
From reliable sources many have been heard boasting on how they crossed the border with false information.
Many of these people are Nomads of the grey kind.
Fortunately many parks are turning people away if their papers arent in order but this doesnt change the fact that they are in the state
contrary to requirements for entry.

Angie

I think that they deserve what the authorities will throw at them
I try to look on the bright side, it could not have happened to a nicer couple

Everyone has a right to be an idiot sometimes but these two abuse the privilege.

Yep and if you argue with these types you will always get ten answers that show they did nothing wrong in their eyes. The answer is always going to be "That they know of"
People who are in unaffected small towns whining about being included in the lock down as if a traveler won't give it to them.
One lady sneaked into Omeo in the mountains in Vic and was found to be positive. She thought she was going to safety and put all her friends at risk. No problem to folks like that.

Everyone has the right to be an idiot. It's not illegal and has nothing to do with age.
