we bought a Gasmate Deluxe rotisserie for our 4 burner hooded BBQ ,set it up last night total disaster, first thing it did was unwind the two long rods so put them back together again ,made sure every thing was running free and set it going again, did the same thing and in the mean time it had started to bend the square shaft , weight of meet was 1.8KG no OX in size
Any one else had trouble with them or is it just me , have looked on Bunnings web site , and this model get great reviews
Starting to wonder if its suitable for purpose
Its a 240 volt unit

Check the lump of meat is not catching on the lid when it's down and stopping it from turning, also make sure the threaded join is very tight but not very very tight.
