Hi, this is my first post. Ive been camping for ages, but more on a motorcycle which is a bit different, as i can go off road and up narly tracks etc, which i still do. However with the curernt situation, we usually go overseas and about now would be coming back from thailand. But thats not going to happen and most likely, travel overseas could be 1-2 years possibly , so its local here in victoria and hope in time borders open which we enable further travel.
So we recently purchased a mobile home van, all self contained, and i know there are so many places etc to go, but does anyone know of any youtube or destinations that can read up on and follow that would cater for sealed roads . Watched a few youtubes. Its just to get any idea of locations, start planning, reading viewing etc..not looking for stardard destinations, as the van is self contained...(ie big 4 parks)
The bike i can plan as doesnt matter were i go and use garmin and topo maps and go on roads whatever type grade they are , but cant go on a place in a large dual wheeled van..lol . Do have wikicamps and used that , but does anyone have any of their own youtube showing destinations, or info that could turn my head to read up on, thankyou in advance

Yes search and read Travel threads . If you havnt already ? Camps 10 is pretty good . I find with other information I use Camps a little like a diary . Shows what and where to go for camps, water, information centres etc . Wikicamps on phone is another . Although I must say . Some times I find nice spots on my own . I guess some get too popular ?

Hi Moyston, a warm welcome from me also
I can not add much more, than what has already been said
I find that when I am in a new area, I go and have a chat, with the people at the local tourist info centre
It is good to do a bit of research beforehand, I have gone through many places, not knowing at that time, of some interesting things I had missed
Hope that when the lockdowns in your area have been lifted, there are many happy road trips ahead of you

There are many ideas on places at thegreynomads.activeboard.com/f474339/freebudget-campsites-suggested-by-our-contributors/
Maybe we see you out there when we're allowed to mingle again.
