If you are near Toowoomba at the moment and love gardens come and see the Botanical Gardens at Queens Park and the Gardens at Laurel Bank Park. Took some time to have a look today before the Carnival of Flowers starts on the week end.
Thankyou gayle. The photos are beautiful. May i take a copy please. We went a few years ago and it really is a mafical time. I loved the parade and floats. Cheers. Rocket

Hi the rocket, Yes you can take a copy. With the Covid-19 problem Toowoomba cannot have a parade this year but there are mini floats in Grand Central Shopping Centre. I haven't been to have a look at these so cannot comment on them and the big Food and Wine event that is usually held in Queens Park was a no goer as well. But the Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park Gardens are lovely and the Clivia Society, St. Lukes church and others still have their displays but some in different formats again because of Covid-19. The Qld Ballet has a performance in the Empire Theatre and there are lots of markets, etc. Restrictions on the Darling Downs and Gold Coast, in personal gatherings, lifted from 10 to 30 yesterday for both in your home and outdoors. There is still plenty to see and do. Cheers.
