My hubby and I stayed at a free park in Tiaro QLD. There is a sign on the fence saying that if you stay in this free park you must spend money in the Royal Hotel in Tiaro (this sign was put there by the pub owners) not the council. This park is owned 100% by the council - NOT that pub. We thought we would do the right thing and go to this pub for a drink so we went with the couple camped beside us. My hubby ordered a beer and the Owner (wife) poured him a beer then asked him what type of beer did she pour for him, on top of this there were people already there and the foul language we heard was disgusting and the Owner of this pub (husband) did nothing to ask these people to stop swearing or keep it down. We are never going back to this pub again, we did ask others and this is a usual occurrence at the pub and they change staff very frequently as there is very little respect for women. There is another pub in Tiaro - The Station Hotel (known as The Hideaway) with a free park which has the best meals, friendliest staff, very nice atmosphere and much better name.

I thought the plug for the Station Hotel was quite fair and reasonable.

Agree that the Station Hotel is the pick of pubs by your description the Royal hasn't changed any, I was a regular visitor over a 5 year period as a friend lived in the area.
