That's a good price, they don't seem to drop the prices on Weber Q often.
EDIT: good guys are also doing the baby at $288

Gooday
Everybody to their own, but I have had Webers, had a 200 for home use and a 100 for the caravan, I bought a solid Weber solid plate for cooking Eggs and Onions, found it useless unless you had the hood down.
A couple of years ago I bought a 2 Burner Zeigler and Brown for home, half grille and half solid plate. Best decision, works fabulously.
I hunted aroundfor a Single Burner Zeigler and Brown for the Caravan ,we were in Sydney about a year or so ago and I bid on one on eBay, Was brand new in the box, solid plate and a cover, won it for $164-00. Had to drive from Lane Cove to Penrith to collect it but was well worth the drive.
The Bloke worked for Reece Plumbing and I am sure they had been giving them away in a competition or such and this bloke must have got hold of one
Just Fabulous compared to The Weber.
Have never regretted the decision to Change.

I did the opposite and am one of many, so it is strictly personal and individual choice, I know this though, WEBER is miles ahead in sales numbers and whenit comes service, I know that WEBER is faultless, not so sure about Ziggy, yet to receive commendations.

G'day All,
Got one today from The Good Guys Gepps Cross (Adelaide) same price as BCF, plenty of stock of BBQ's and accessories. For those thta comment about they won't cook with the lid up, they're designed to cook with the lid DOWN, Manufacturer Instructions tell you the unit won't cook with the lid up.

I have a Baby Q for the van and a Family Q for home. Two family members have Zeigler and Brown so I have used them all.
I would definitely choose the Weber over the Z&B because it burns not as hot. The Zeigler is just too hot to cook with the lid down for anything but a steak, so roasts get too burnt. I find the Weber cooks fine with the lid up, but better turned down a bit and with the lid down. Cooking time is similar as it cooks on top, but you also add the nice smoked flavour. For a steak, flipping once and serving almost immediately should retain the juices better as well.
I haven't had the need to call for support, but the Weber response is often quoted as outstanding.
