Just had our second long trip towing with jeep central coast to wilpena ,adelaide home the car is very comfortable and tows beautifully, hay plain head wind 95,100 k's per hour 16.3 lts per 100 k's,started to overheat near Hawker SA. temp ok when cruising at 85 plus, got to Rawnsley Station ,overheated when driving in but got to site ,called jeep spent 3 days on phone sadly baby telstra signal, and sadly jeeps roadside didn't seem to communicate with customer service who's not communicating with jeep logistics, but to jeeps credit got it sorted car and van towed to adelaide, accom paid 2 weeks due to lockdown hire car for week cab charges to get car etc, problem facility fan replaced all good ,we are very happy with it all round for the jeep haters,I bought a brand new ford territory diesel 3 days old on tow truck to ford faulty in tank fuel pump.so it happens .I think a lot of jeeps problems are customer service needs to be like nrma a case officer allocated to each case would save a lot of problems.mike g Hope Jeep does have a look at customer service and talk to there customers

I have a Land Rover, it's been perfectly reliable! Even in early January at Chambers Gorge.

He he, I reckon you might be misunderstanding off jeep haters..... I am a Jeep buyers sympathiser. I reckon your Quote of "tows beautifully, hay plain head wind 95,100 k's per hour 16.3 lts per 100 k's,started to overheat" is not a great sign of future towing.
Ok you are towing hard, but into a head wind the air ought to rush through and do the cooling.

It only started to overheat when sitting at idle no airflow or when driving at 60 or less kph even driving from hawkers to wilpena outside temp 38 %no problems until slowing down with no airflow as no fan no air coming home from adelaide 38 plus degree days no problems even when stoped and at idle fan working plenty of air like every car no fan engine overheats, like I said a great tow car and yes time will tell .

In my car a second but smaller radiator fan is installed next to the main fan for hotter countries.
If in a desperate situation again turn on the car's cabin heater to help remove heat, you will cook, but it's a last resort!
