Has anybody else noted that their viewing options of posts have changed recently. My choice was always date posted, but is has changed to last updated. Yesterday I went through each sub forum and changed the option back to date posted and low and behold today it has reverted to last posted.
In your personal settings under Profile -> Settings, you can specify "Order of Topics" and "Order of Comments".

Done the above but does not help. Still get posts in order of date modified.
If I change the selection at the bottom of each sub forum then exit and re-enter the forum the selection reverts to date modified.

Latest posts go to the top of the section it's under, as in "I Digress", regardless of when the original one was posted.
I suppose new members are reading old posts first as they have not set their order to read from newest first, and then comment without noticing the date.

Hi
I have not noticed any change with my viewing. Possibly it might be to do with the device and operating system you are using ! I use my old laptop with Windows and chrome.

Can't say that I noted any change .. but I'm not very observant these days (It's a failing comprehension thing). The other day I was looking at a post that was at the top of the list & after a bit realised that it was a very old one.
Just checked my settings & found that my selection was 'Forum Default' so I changed that and saved changes.
I'll look later to see if that has changed.
Edit .. Hang on .. what I changed was the order of posts within a thread .... not what I thought I was doing. Back to the forum default!

Have you remembered to click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom after making your changes?

To all those that have replied thank you but nothing so for has worked. System is win 10 64 bit using google chrome. In my profile the settings are for date posted and oldest posts first. When I view the forum the posts are always last modified oldest first. Each time I view a sub forum I have to manually change to date posted, on returning from another sub forum it has reverted to date modified. Cindy is taking up the problem with the forum hosting company.
