Hi Jay & Dee, I purchased a Van cover in 2013, not a great success it went mouldy/rotten. It was very difficult to put on over air conditioner & arial and wouldn't let sun in over solar panel.
Most other items we have purchased at Aldi have been good value.

I know someone that got one during a previous sale and it ripped to shreds in the first storm, John.
I have heard a few people got them and didn't last long at all. I spose you get what you pay for.

Has anyone previously purchased the 20 - 22ft van covers and if so are they as good as they say they are???

My friends caravan is 21 feet 8 inches outside nose to tail at the longest point and the 20 to 22 foot cover was too short lengthwise to fit on.
Also, they seemed a very thin lightweight cover compared to the Adco covers.

Hi Skins
How long, does the rechargeable 12 volt fan, last for

My nearly $400.00 ADCO cover is ripped & shredded in a lot of places & its not even 3 years old yet. Cover has only been on for a total of 12 months in that 3 year period. Actually thinking of the cheap aldi cover and combining it with the stuffed adco cover.

I've never been there the whole time the fan has been on, but at least 3-4 hours at a minimum on low speed (may be more) which is sufficient for us. Fan also oscillates. Unfortunately the fan only lasts about 1/2 -3/4 of an hour or so on high speed. But it is still a great fan especially for the money.

Hi Skins,
I believe that the ADCO covers have a 3 year guarantee. Also heard that they have been good a honouring their guarantees. It may be a good idea to check them out.

Hi Watsea,
How do you know that they are ADCO covers.
I googled ADCO and I was knocked over by the prices compared to Aldi see below.
Anyway, I would have to take into my measurements the spare wheel and gennie box on the rear bumper of my 6.53 metre van and therefore these Aldi covers would definitely not fit.

I have one, lasts longer than the van covers...

Hi Skins,
Your earlier post said that you had an ADCO cover that had failed, so I was suggesting that you go back to ADCO to check if they will honour their 3 year warranty. I don't know how to go to approach ADCO
I got a set of end privacy screens from ALDI and found them to be most unsuitable. Binned them and replaced them with Coast to Coast product. But I have picked up some good product from ALDI including their battery drill.
Here are some great camping specials with ALDI for Saturday 13th February.

So for me, that is the end of the exercise.
