Much has been written here about caravan covers, some preferring to use the grey/silver tarps. With the conventional covers, does the van get hot while under the cover? I bought one off eBay a while ago (made in China). It seems to have what I call "breathing" patches all through the material. Holding it up to the light, yes I can see through it - sort of. The one thing I found was the temperature of the van's roof under the cover was far hotter than the van without the cover on! Is this normal? The cover is a mid grey, the van is white. And yes, it's a pain in the neck to put on!
I had thought of getting an Aldi one - a friend home swears by them, says they last him two years.
