Hi Beau...I have one,and it is amazing. When I am in the bush, with no service for the mobile or the iPad,I simply flick the switch, and immediately I have between 3 and 5 bars to play around on the internet or do emails or whatever.Highly recommended.I also have run a wire from the car to the van so there is no need to be near the car.Go for it...you won't regret it.Cheers
P.S Only now have I read the reviews posted by Cupie, and, quite frankly,I'm astounded! Perhaps incorrectly installed? Mine works on 3G and 4G...if it wasn't raining heavily here,I would go out to the car to rediscover how that is done, but I seem to recall just setting it to "Automatic" and Bob's your Uncle.Never had a problem, but I am not at all tech-savvy,do not know how or why you'd need one in the city.

Hi Ian...there is no aerial on my van,but the car aerial is around 3.5 metres above the ground. From the car there is a wire to the van,and in the van there is a 'repeater' that transmits a signal there.Works well.Highly recommended, but seems that it needs to be installed by someone who knows what he is doing.Mine was done by a company in Windsor,Brisband.PM me if you'd like details.Cheers
