make sure you place some mouse bait blocks in the engine bay of your vehicle (use cable ties which go through a hole in the blocks) and check them at least weekly or even more often

i wouldn't recommending using baits in your vehicle they tend to make themselves comfortable then die, an smell quite bad if still in your vehicle. use peppermint oil or moth balls to deter them

They are further south of Parkes, scattered at small towns down as far as Jerilderie and small towns east of there

....and make sure you use disposable gloves when handling the baits or your human smell will frighten the mongrels away.

Are disposable gloves going to be disposed of?, They are some sort of single use plastic, so save the world will want washable ones?

If you put baits under the vehicle engine bay, you will definitly atract them. We have plenty of mice around & the only way to keep them out of the vehicles, is to keep moth balls or napthelene flakes in the engine bay. Very efective & ive seen plenty of damage done to customers vehicles when they destroy the wiring & hoses.

Lift off the ground, maybe take wheels off ? Fit anti rodent screens on stands . They look like old fashioned light shades . Rodents cannot climb around them !

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure how far our West they had gone.

The mice will be anywhere grain is grown. At this time of year they are looking for a nice warm winter bed.

Could I point out that temperatures may be "high",or "low",or anywhere in between ,but never are they "cool" or "hot"'? Cheers
Hi all. Just wondering if there is a mouse plague out Broken Hill way. I plan on travelling out there in May. Thanks for your responses.
