Aren't we lucky to have three of the four sages of the Driver Mutual Admiration Institute all here for another highly informed delivery of their specialist subject. Who can ever forget those wonderful sentiments expressed by Professor Dorian in relation to young people's seemed resilience in relation to this virus, strongly supported by that other noted genius, Professor Yobarr.
I imagine Professor Yobarr will soon join this group of omniscients when he completes his latest offering, "The Effects of Extreme Flatulence on the Weight Distribution Hitch", a must read for all of those seeking an answer to the questions that nobody asked.

Totally unnecessary mate.
Are you off your meds again or just drinking heavily with lunch.
It is a shame that a man who has appeared to be reasonably intelligent in other topics displays such a childish behaviour in the Covid related topics.
This will now be a kew for Mr Zero to grace us with his views.

Amazing the way you go into damage control when someone challenges your vast knowledge or directions Professor Driver.
It seems your go to position is to either suggest anyone who has the audacity to disagree is either a drunkard, off their medication or childish. If that is not enough you then pre empt any other person's right to offer an opinion by insulting them before they even post.

My vaccination experience.
In QLD you must book online.
Firstly register your interest with relevant details and press send. Then you get an online invitation which gives locations where you get your vaccine. I picked a radius of 40kms and 60 day timeline....sorry no spots available.....went to 90 day timeline and 50km radius....sorry no spots available.
Ok..plan B...I'll call the 13 covid "hotline". Day 1 gave up after 70mins of recorded messages. Day 2 ...gave up after 45 mins. Finally after 4 attempts I got somebody to talk to me.
Took all my details again but couldn't find the "Invitation" so can't help you.....after some very fast talking persuaded the young lady to create another "invitation" and finally got booking at the local hospital for my first shot which I have received.
Now for the 2nd shot.....
Is it any wonder we are so far behind the rest of the world with our vaccine rollout.

There was an interview this morning on CH 7 with a fellow who had received both the Pfizer and the AZ.
He had certificates which he offered as proof of vaccination.
He was questioned extensively as to how he managed to get both vaccines and his first reply is that he wanted to be double vaccinated as he believed it would be a better result for him not being able to contract Covid. The rest involved what appeared to be just tricky paperwork.
In our area as someone being 70 we could not receive any vaccinations until the 1st of June. The first priority was given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
We have a family friend who is only 46 and she had to travel 200 klms to be able to receive Pfizer.

Once I actually got through the booking process it was all very streamlined from there and handled very well by the Health professionals.
Just bring copy of booking record, Medicare Card and whilst not compulsory a copy of your medical history from your GP which helps them decide which vaccine to give you.

Well things for me in the Nanny State (Victoria) is completely the opposite. Both my partner and I made a booking on the internet for our local Town Hall Vac centre. Took 10 mins to do both. Walked down took the jab and out all in 1/2hr. Reminder sent for 2nd jab with time to arrive. Arrived at appointed time, jab and out 30 mins later. All my friends in other municipalities around Melbourne have had the same experience. Perhaps for once Victoria ha got it right!!! Perhaps if you are having issues relocate to Stonnington Council and get the jab here!!!

We have run out of vaccines in our area, no one can get them The thing about choice, in October, is if you are under 60, you can choose if you have AZ or or any other, If you are over 70, the same, but in between you only get AZ. This I have heard on the news in NSW. I am 62, so looks like no vaccine for me. I have decided to take Echidna pee, I believe it works quite well. Is it also true, that regardless of what vaccine you have, you will still be able to contract the Delta variant of the virus, and it is just as harsh as if you didn't get the vaccine?

No, Echidna pee, is what the original sailors back in the 16-1700's used to use when they visited Australia, to stop them getting colds, well they believed that anyway. ( spotted that in a Wikipedia page a few years ago.) I have a few echidna's around my place, I just don't know how to extract it, wandering around behind one with a pee bottle, would be much harder then getting the jab i suppose.
