I didn't do anything to my camper but I did re wire my Kayak does that count? It is a major part of my setup, at the moment my goal is to get my camper registered but with covid shutting things down every other week it's proving to be a difficult task.

We spent the day vacuuming and cleaning the rig, replacing screen windows, ready for the handover to Dunmowin's new owner.

Slip in a night along side the Warrego River at Wyandra while you at it for good measure.

Build a new roof for my daughter van. Over a couple of weeks, just the solar panels to go.

I changed gas bottles over in the middle of cooking bacon, eggs and tomato.
I needed to remove and replace this time, as I was preparing to live home I sprayed soapy water around the gas fitting, found a very small leak, now after 7 weeks on the road At wrong time, jumped out of bed to attend to the appending disaster.
Readjust the holding bolts, a big day for me..

Put a new wheel on the laundry trolley, 3 have lasted almost 48 years, the replacements last about 18 months. Made in C.... of course.

I looked at my Van's exit route from its' parking spot alongside the house.
It might be a problem as the new neighbour across the road has parked his spare vehicle, a van, permanently it seems on the road outside his house. He hasn't moved it for about 4 or 5 weeks.
The issue is that to stop the rear of my caravan bottoming out as I move from the block onto the road, I come out as straight as I can & then swing to the left right onto where he has chosen to park his vehicle (quite legally of course unlike my manoeuvre I suppose.)
A few weeks ago, I asked him if it was his vehicle as I thought that it might have been abandoned, he said that if it was an issue let him know & he would move it.
I just wish he would put it in his unused carport. He has another spare under cover parking spot as well but chooses to park the spare van on the road & his work ute in his driveway.
Not to worry, I'll just have to talk to him the day before I go or modify my exit method.

We really feel for all you good people who are in lockdown while we in Queensland have unlimited freedom. I guess our turn will come. Have had the caravan ready to go for the last 3 weeks, since our last trip to Proserpine Dam ( Peter Faust Dam ),so that in the event of a lockdown up here we could just load the ute, hook up and be gone in 3 hours. Gotta keep ahead of the play you know. Next trip is to one of our favourite spots, Theresa Creek Dam near Clermont, and that starts this Sunday. Today I finished installing the dual Battery system in the Navara and saved myself about $400 by doing it myself. And before any of you lot start suggesting where the first cloud of smoke might come from, I have tested and run the system and all the smoke has stayed inside the insulation. The generator is now obsolete unless of course we travel south where the sun only shines for 46 days/year. Looking forward to a feed of Redclaw and some kickback time.

Yesterday I installed a grey water system, which will give me more overnight stay options in my hiace camper.
Pity I cant make the wiz bang door any quieter so that I dont upset fellow campers. I have covered the track and rollers with heaps of spray on lithium grease. Sorry!

I would try by sticking "sound deadening" material ( thin and dense with adhesive already on one side - cut to shape , peel and stick..) inside the outer panel of the door - I think it would help stop resonance in the door caused by the "rollers and track.." Used by many car restorers/hot rodders etc... KB
