Hi Beaver7, From web I notice a few heavy vehicle movers ie trucktransport.com.au/%20Transport&utm_term=truck%20transport%20interstate&utm_content=Truck%20Transport - From Personal experience it is not cheap transporting caravans and motorhomes - If not urgently needed I would suggest it is better to have it driven up (I believe it is possible even with COVID restrictions)

Hi
Dont want to seem harsh but
You arent going anywhere soon
Sit back and wait for end of lockdown or get it transported
Driving across 2 states at present TOO risky for yourself and others
Sorry to be negative but if I eas issuing permits you wouldnt get one.
Regards Gerry

The driving isnt really the issue ! Dont congregate where many meet ! Yes do it when legal to do so ! Go by the health requirements! Then some ! Masks etc

I recently finalised the build for my caravan with Crusader in Melbourne.
They did say that they were delivering caravans with their own newly formed transport division.
They simply added it to their existing ABN at a cost of about 50 dollars.
I am not sure if that was just to enable them to deliver to Victorian customers during lockdown, or if they are doing it interstate as well.
Either way, ring them, or any other caravan company and ask who they use to transport their caravans and motorhomes.

Someone may be looking for a backload.
Good luck.
