All that fuss last year that Australia could not make masks.
There was one manufacturer that had the antiquated equipment to make surgical masks.
The Australian military came it to engineer a copy to build a third machine. Actually a whole production line.
Anyway today. Some of the machines have been turned off as wholesalers have reverted to buying from China.
I really do wonder what it will take to buy locally!
PS. Thanks for the link. I use P2 masks for doing cutting, grinding & painting etc around the house.

Just got back from Manly to buy food, in the streets about 50 to 60% of people wearing masks.

Only 50 to 60%! I cant comprehend the mentality, over 1000 new cases in NSW yesterday and still people won't do the right thing.
I've been out and about in the Adelaide suburbs recently, in malls and public areas compliance is well over 90%.
Does it matter where the masks are made? just wear one.

Likely will go on forever - they are already saying that those early vaccers
are needing booster shots.

I don't like buying anything from other countries unless we don't make it here, however sometimes we don't have much choice, I use a washable mask now but thanks for the link for aussie made. And here's that link again https://ppetech.com.au/collections/p2
Do you feel happy about wearing "Made in China" masks?
A bit anachronistic to say the least. Remember the China hordes
buying up all our masks and ventilators when the virus first burst?
Buy Australian on line - I have distilled a site down to make it easy:
