Good advice Possum.A couple of members apparently don't like my posts, and attest that they don't bother reading them, but somehow these members always seem to know what I've written? How can this be? Very strange,me thinks.Cheers

Nah... the forum would be hardly any fun at all if people did that.
It is my understanding that most who read internet forums do not read them for erudite discussions about their core matter eg. weight distribution hitches or solar panels etc but rather they read them for the arguments and discussions which invariably crop up and this applies particularly to the silent majority who rarely if ever post.

I have been doing it to a couple on here already Possum and have been for a while. I even didn't 'tune in' for a few weeks due to my mouse complaining he was getting pain in his right arm.
The Forum is here for everyone, not just a select group who feel they own it. One has to expect that, if you put something out there, there are always going to be people who agree, and heaven forbid, disagree, thats life. Harden up, thats life, take it on the chin because you know what, maybe, just maybe you are wrong. Thats right the W.W.W.W.W. word! Welcome to the social media era! cheers and keep on smiling Ian
I'm a very positive, optimistic and outgoing person and I love a good debate - it makes me THINK and consider the veracity of my thoughts and opinions.
I have never understood why a person would not debate their views and be prepared to change them if a counter argument were persuasive - one's ego should not overrule one's logic.
Healthy, open, honest debate is good and stimulating and should be encouraged - it is not something to run away from.

I'm a very positive person too and am used to debate via a SWOT analysis. There is room to raise concerns without tearing others to pieces in the process.

Keep safe in this Covid world everyone.
Why are people so unkind.
Glass half empty people.
