We have recently been up north in our newly-purchased 9yr old Conquest. The plastic LH tail-light cluster fell off when we were travelling on some roadworks (not particularly rough). I have never been fond of the plastic rear end so I'm thinking it's time for a modification or three. Has anyone had a similar problem and, if so, how did they resolve it?

Welcome to GN's Jayel, Those fiberglass cowlings on modern vans are a major source of leaks into caravans - If you are attaching lights directly to rear surface of caravan ensure you adequately waterproof your fitments.

John, the Jayco Sterling caravan of the same year has a grey plastic rear bumper that is more complete than that on your Conquest MH. It extends up both sides and across the top of the rear panel. To my eye it is more attractive. Not sure if the dimensions are common to both rear panels but could be an option. Cheers,
