We have been sitting under the awning in the shed, next to the van, very quiet camp site. Cooking stir fries and curries with my wife's instructions.
Gaining new culinary skills, Getting ready for the road soon, we hope.

You should have been looking at the difference between COVID-19 and Influenza, Influenza is way more deadly that the WUFLU!
Google
ABS influenza deaths 2019, (4,124) COVID-19 (0)
ABS influenza deaths 2020 (2,287) COVID-19 (898)
2019 No mask mandate and no lock downs!

If you are going to quote statistics you really should have *some* understanding of their context.
The low number of covid deaths against flu deaths in Australia is because of the way we have reacted to the C19 virus; these are the same statistics for the UK:
----
"Of all death occurrences between January and August 2020, there were 48,168 deaths due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) compared with 13,619 deaths due to pneumonia and 394 deaths due to influenza."
"In-hospital mortality was higher in patients with COVID-19 than in patients with influenza (15 104 [16·9%] of 89 530 vs 2640 [5·8%] of 45 819), with a relative risk of death of 2·9 (95% CI 2·83·0) and an age-standardised mortality ratio of 2·82."
We have been sitting under the awning in the shed, next to the van, very quiet camp site. Cooking stir fries and curries with my wife's instructions.
Gaining new culinary skills, Getting ready for the road soon, we hope.
Our caravan has been parked up on its pad at home for most of this Covid-19 outbreak. We sometimes take a coffee & biscuit out there for morning tea & talk about all the places we've been to in the previous 10 years.
We even bring our dog into the van with us & give her a doggy treat to enjoy. We're looking forward to getting out & about in the near future after school holidays are over.
Both double jabbed & boosted. Will be bush camping by ourselves.

another virologist graduate from the internet making claims that the flu is more deadly.. i love it because it gives me a good laugh
disregard the real science and maybe call George Christenson if you need clarification on the details
