That's the lead in to NRMA latest acquisition Holiday Park - Formerly Big $4 BALLARAT
goldfields Holiday Park.
Well I'd be bloody over the moon too if I could rent out a tiny piece of Oz for near
$50 a night!!! The motorist's friend ? Communal dunnies and showers - and bring
your own accommodation.
At a rough guess that's about $300 a night for an area about the size of a surburban
block of land. I can rent the block and the HOUSE fully furnished for that.
Ballarat never did stop being a gold mine.
Glad I don't ever need them.

Parks fully rented would get $2100 for the 6 sited that would fit on a regular suburban block.
No wonder there's a popularity explosion of camp sites, and the holiday parks' vehement
opposition to same!
