New to this site and looking forward to reading all the great topics, will most probably have more questions than answers to contribute
I am planning to repaint my camper trailer (1997 Golf Slipstream) but is unsure what the outside panels are made of, picture attached. I think it is cladded aluminium.
Anyone's ideas, suggestions or help in any way would be very much appreciated.
Welcome to the gang Faduv, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I vote Aluminium for sure.

Yes Francois it is aluminium - Just ensure you take off decals, light sand and degrease, good Automotive primer and two pack paint - If you do all the prep including masking a local auto finisher/ panelbeater would most probably be an economic solution.

Once prepped, and cleaned with prepsol, make sure you use either adhesion promoter or a good etch primer before painting.
