The type of bomb that uses a propellant to spray the liquid contents until the canister is empty can be a bomb if a spark or flame is present while, or soon after using.
A better way is to use an approved surface spray in problem areas, or if there is still a problem hire a licenced Pest Manager.
Most propellants in spray cans have a level of flammability so caution should prevail even with surface sprays
Having said that the surface sprays that come in a small container with a hose and a squirt nozzle are generally ok but when all else fails, read the label.

A motor home or a caravan have a very small cubic area compared to most homes.
But by all means, dont let me put a damper on you blowing your van and possibly you or your family into next week.
I have a friend who used one in a van some years ago.
It had almost finished going off when there was a huge explosion. It blew out all the windows and the door.
The van was destroyed.
He had forgotten to turn off the gas fridge.
Cheers,
Peter

In Perth many years ago, some fellows took over a restaurant. To clear the place of ****roaches, they set off a few of these bombs inside. :) Big bang and the place disintegrated, they forgot about the gas stove pilot lights!

I would be concerned about the residual spray on everything in the van! I couldn't wipe clean pelmets, curtains, lounges etc as well as getting into the air-conditioner

Of course you can. Just read and follow the instructions (that includes what to do before and after). A caravan isn't too small and well over the recommended minimum cubic capacity.

Funny that, just this week here in Brisbane we were just before the rain storms started, we had extra ants, wasps then notice our caravan had tiny ants, just a few, so into the chemical locker and did a good spray around the outside of home and caravan also doing the interior of the caravan, gas off, power disconnected, opened all the doors and draws, this morning 3 days later I did not find any tinny ants, a couple of dead mozzies and no noticeable smell.
If I had a insect spray bomb I would of used one in the caravan but I was spraying with a brought retail decanted insect formular, way more economical then bombs.
At least once year when we go away for a couple of months, on departure I release a pack of 3 insect bombs off in the home mainly to ward of ****roachies which can be pain at times, just a fact of living in a warmer climate.

Morning snap, I 'bomb' inside my aluminium tent twice a year. ALWAYS make sure the gas is off and out of lines, if on 240v make sure the outside plug is disconnected, fridge OFF, make sure the small overhead cupboard where all fuses etc live is closed, smoke detector removed. Place the 'bomb' on the floor on paper towel and set off, then, make a run for it. I never leave the van but sit outside. After two hours I open windows and doors. Wipe down any food prep areas and that's it until next time.
Works a treat. A fly or bug might sneak in but never seen again.

You would also need to remove the batteries from under the front seats of the MH. I have four there. And what about the inverter. Actually when I think about it, I have a lot of electrical switches there. Nah don't think I would use one.

Be aware small black ants can be a warning sign of water/moisture in walls. Check with moisture meter.

This is far from my field so you'll need to do some research but... that device operates at 360nm which is a frequency capable of causing eye damage so I suggest you put the unit as far away as possible and out of your direct line of sight, behind a bush or similar.
