Dometic compressor fridge icing up and dripping water into main fridge

My Dometic compressor fridge (2019 model) has a freezer that is icing up during extended use, say more than 2 weeks continuous use.
It is also causing moisture build up in the main fridge causing paper products (e.g. egg cartons) to get very damp.
Other than obviously defrosting the freezer (which may be hard to do when in transit) is there any other advice to minimise these problems.
Regards
David

Common problem with small fridges with a freezer without a second freezer control.
Check that the door seals ere not leaking. That will cause icing very fast. Put a strong torch inside at night, close the door and check for light leaks.
Fix the seals first, if the problem still persists, defrost regularly.
Cheers,
Peter

agree
check the seals and replace
i had an outdoor beer fridge (250l) in darwin and it was forever icing up. new seals $120 fixed the problem
the 2nd problem was stopping the locals stealing grog and some food
i caught a bloke in the act one night and gave him a 6pack and some food. i never had a problem after that

High humidity will freeze up quicker. Had our 28L fridge going for a few day last week in Sydney. I was surprised how much ice there was, but the humidity here at the moment is very uncomfortable.
