We are looking at buying a 2017 Jayco Starcraft 21.66.3 with an Electric Slide Out and Club Lounge. Good condition. What would be an approx price range?
TIA

Hi mgtlat.
Your inquiry brought back a incident in our lives back in very late 2018, we were experiencing television problems and was told of a reliable repairer at a caravan dealer, so we ventured over that way to see what we could do. Unfortunately to busy to help out.
When I was walking out amongst the caravans a Jayco slide out caught my eye, a really nicely presented previous owned 2017 model, I spent sometime looking and truly convinced I would like this almost new caravan in my driveway, so out I go to bring the Accountant in, well she was excited to but we both have big trouble parting with money. We still have our same caravan.
That 2017 could of been brought for $56000 then, a new one was about $70000.
So a quick look on the internet today would probably show between $45000 & $65000.

Close to the ORIGINAL 2017 new price, is what they are selling for these days, mainly because of the massive LONG wait for new caravans. $65-75K for one in top condition.

The slideout mechanism for a lot of these caravans is controlled by a hand-held wifi unit. I have heard of people opening up their slideout no problems and then when they go to close up for travelling, it won't slide in. People pushing it in by hand. Disgruntled owners. Apparently, the problem can be with the wifi transmitter in the park heavily overpowering the small hand-held unit trying to close the van. A point to consider if you are buying a slideout van and have trouble closing or opening it....

What happens when someone hacks into the IOT and closes the slide out whilst the occupants are asleep?
