Not a bad Summer turnout considering the lake is down to about 10% capacity. The lake is about half of the surface area it used to be and the Eastern end is now dry. What you see in the pics is the actual present lake. The second lake (Fresh Lake) has been dry since January. The lake may be a pond by next Summer. Victorian Fisheries recently removed many tonne of fish for transfer to other waterways.
It is still a great stop over for travelers and provides new flushing toilets, hot showers, dump point and undercover electric bbq.
Easter may attract more campers depending on the weather outlook.
The boat ramp is now about 30m from the water so boat launching is not possible.

Very timely update, Dick0. We are heading that way in the next week. Possibly be there for Easter.

I left last Friday after ten weeks at Greens. The Flamingos won't be happy with the water level Kaid.

Alas Dick0,
Big Bird has gone to the big Aviary in the Sky.
My Son has bought me an Inflatable Bin Chicken but, sadly she just doesnt have the Character of Big Bird.
Have met up with a few of the aforementioned Nomads.
Actually paddled around the perimeters of the Lake in my Rainbow Kayak

Hey Dick0, the level of the lake has gone up 4.5% over winter so far. Might make it back to the same level it was last spring.

Thanks Stretch.
Greens Lake today.
Latest at Greens...
Let's hope it gets to past levels. It could do with more at the moment for the Summer months.
Water being released from the Western Channel into Greens.
And Lake Cooper is getting water also!
