Evening all, the other half is trying to download messenger on her iPhone 12 from the app store however it says to turn off restrictions.
We have gone to settings but cant find any restrictions to turn off or on. Google search only finds restrictions settings once your in messenger, we need to get in first.
Any ideas????

I dont have an iPhone but try this
Want to Disable Restrictions on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch?
Go to Settings > Screen Time.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Enter your Screen Time passcode, if requested.
Toggle Content & Privacy Restrictions off.

That sounds very suspicious to me. A social media app asking for restrictions to be disabled means they want to download as much of your personal data as possible.
