Swift cooktops with 4 gas burners are not listed in the effected models.
Will be interesting if the State authorities that issued recall notices modify their notices to match this latest Federal recall.

What about all the RVers that haven't been cooking on their perfectly OK Swift cookers, can they get compensated for the stress & lack of hot food?

I hope that is correct, my cooktop is an Oct 2015 model but has the same identifying numbers as in the notices.

I have a 4 gas burner, MODEL : 502BFW. It doesn't appear to be in the list, however model: 502bhfw is. Lets hope its not a misprint

G'day, this is copied from the Swift Website. Apparently the ban remains for ALL Swift 500 series cookers until lifted by the ACCC.
SWIFT 500 SERIES INCIDENT
Date: 08/06/2022
Due to circumstance beyond our control we have been informed by the ACCC that we need to notify our customer in regards to the Incident that has occurred. Please read the notice below and advise your customers that the Swift 500 series (All Models regardless of age, Including Cooktops, Grills & Ovens are NOT ALLOWED TO BE SOLD, HIRED OR USED AUSTRALIA WIDE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
We hope this is a temporary situation, Swift Group are in regular contact with the ACCC, WA Authorities and QLD Authorities as to what steps are to be taken next.
Please be patient once we have more information we will advise through our website.
Please be informed the electrical element can still be used.
Swift Appliance Group Pty Ltd is currently liaising with the ACCC, WA DMIRS and Resources Safety and Health Queensland regarding gas explosion safety risks in the 500Series Caravan Gas Cookers. We will provide more information as soon as possible after conferring with the regulatory bodies. Consumers must immediately cease using the products until tests determine the cause of the explosion and the products are deemed safe.

Agree with KFT, I received an email from my dealer this morning, ALL 500 series still not to be used Australia wide. Awaiting further from ACCC or Swift.
Here's the latest from ACCC - only affects stoves available from 1 Jan 2019 to 30 June 2020.
Products supplied to consumers, caravan, camper and motorhome manufacturers between 01/01/2019 and 1/06/2020.
