I have been trying to leave Sydney, for the last 5-10 days, for a leisurely saunter around the Central West of NSW; Carcoar, Young, Peak hill, Darlington Point and surrounds, but have been delaying my departure because of weather forcasts / conditions in those general areas.
I would like very much to get some feedback from fellow travellers who are actually in the area, and comments as to wether I might expect dry ground if I left Saturday.
One of my concerns would be if caravan parks are dry enough underfoot to allow vehicles onto their grounds.
As always, I appreciate any and all comments. KB

Keiron, the Central West NSW has glorious days and cold nights at the present - There are so many camping options (parks and free-camps) you should not have too many problems getting a dry spot to camp. A word of warning however because of the likely-hood of dam releases, don't camp on river banks without doing a thorough check with local visitor centre.
