I have often wondered why this isn't be done with all creatures that have been exterminated - No I am not saying creating Jurassic Park scenarios, but the technology has been available for years so yes go for it.

I think the Hemworth money could have been put to better use protecting endangered species rather resurrection of the dead.

Yes I think money towards cancer research would be way better,
But I do like Saber Tooth Tigers,
now a couple of them in the Tassy bush would keep the ferals down, hahaha

It seems to me that there is great potential for useful spinoffs. What if we could use gene splicing to cure hereditary disorders? I believe that some work has already been rolled out in this area.
