You amaze me with the knowledge of birdlife you appear to have and the beautiful photography - How many years have you been travelling and recording these birds from just about every corner of Australia?

I've been photographing birdlife since the early 80's using an Olympus 35mm SLR camera on a tripod with a cable release.
We use DSLR cameras these days.
My interest in birds started in 6th grade at 12 years of age when I joined the Gould League.
My wife began taking images of birds in 2005.
We travelled extensively before our retirement in 2010
Except for recent Covid-19 years we've spent half of every year of our retirement away on trips.
We photograph many other things besides birds.
On our trips we enjoy many other things like bushwalking, native plant identification, wineries, fishing, history etc.
Glad that you appreciate our images.
For anyone who enjoys identifying our native fauna on their travels you can download these free apps.
For those interested in Australian Birds this app is fantastic. It gives descriptions, maps of distribution, bird calls & types of habitat.
